KEYNOTE SESSION

Celebrating Small Wins for BIG Success

The wellbeing of U.S. employees has been on a decline since it peaked in 2021. Additionally, daily negative emotions like stress, anger, sadness, and worry remain higher than pre-pandemic levels.

Employee wellbeing is important to organizational performance. Research by the Gallup organization indicates that thriving employees contribute positively to the workplace, while struggling employees experiencing negative emotions or burnout can negatively affect organizations.

The question then becomes: How can we support employee wellbeing, motivate teams to stay self-driven, and improve focus?

One approach is by creating a system that acknowledges small wins. Celebrating small wins engages the brain’s reward system, reinforcing positive behaviors, fostering motivation, and a culture of appreciation.

In this fun, inspiring session, Francesca will guide the faculty and staff in establishing a repository for small wins that aims to have a lasting impact. This practice can become a repeatable habit that reinforces positivity and provides a tangible resource to draw upon during periods of stress or challenge.

And the best part? No prior experience is necessary.
